Sphinx's Sealed Booster Tips

Hello after hearing that there will be a lancers prerelease I decided to tell u a couple ideas on how to make your army under the time limit and your random figures.

The First Step: Ok after ripping through your boosters the first thing to do is to organize all your figures that u have received like this:

Category 1: figures ranging from 5-20 points
Category 2: figures ranging from 21-40 points
Category 3: figures ranging from 41-60 points
Category 4: figures ranging from 70+ points

Formation 1: Ok once u has done that you select a commanding leader which should be in category 3 or 4. Then give him back up by trying to use 2 figures from category 1 or 2 that have the same fraction as the commanding leader.

Formation 2: You are usually able to pick 2 of these depending on what u get in your packs and how many points you use on your commander.

- Healing Team: "Healing team" the formula for that = 1 healer from category 1 or 2 and 2 figures to back him up also from category 1 or 2. The idea on this team is to heal the commander.

- Sniping Team: Another option would be a "sniping team" the formula = 1x figure with a long range and u can spend a little more on him (category 3) and u could also back him up with a couple of figs. The idea on this is to snipe some of your opponent's figures.

- Launch Team: this team is not really a team but a couple figs that can fly. The idea is to go clean up anything u shot with the sniping team. You can use a figure from category 3 on this one.

- The Rest of the Army: If u do one of those options u will probably have a few points left which u could use to fell in with like imps and cheap figures like that.

Sample Army:
1x Goblin Volunteer weak
1x Martyr on Light Warhorse
1x Elf-at-Arms weak
1x Shieldwall Knight standard
1x steam golem weak
1x Soaring Crossbowman on Dragonfly Mount weak

Formations::

-Formation 1: 1x Martyr on Light Warhorse, 1x Elf-at-Arms weak, 1x Shieldwall Knight standard

-The Rest: 1x Goblin Volunteer weak, 1x steam golem weak, 1x Soaring Crossbowman on Dragonfly Mount weak

The Basic Idea: The main point of this is to send the main commander with his backup to the other guys main figure while u give him back up with his backup figures that are in base contact with him and use the healing team to heal him or use the "sniping team" to shoot any figures that come near the commander.

Conclusion: No matter which team you use (after of hours of test play and such) it will turn in to a pretty solid army. I would like to thank everyone who made this article possible including all the people who helped play test my ideas. I hope everyone kicks a$$ at the booster draft.
